WMI is missing

Q: I got an error saying that WMI is missing and I can't register my licence because of that. What should I do?

This is a known problem which might happen on computers that are part of a corporate network. Problem is that your user account does not have enough permissions to query WMI service. WAsP licencing system is using WMI to query different hardware IDs from your machine to make the licence unique for you. No personal information is collected.

At the moment you need to contact your IT-department in order to solve this issue. They should be able to give permission for your account to query WMI. In the future we might be able to issue an update which will workaround this problem.
