CREYAP conclusions presented at EWEA 2015

Summary results and conclusions from four European Wind Energy Association Comparison of Resource and Energy Yield Assessment Procedures (CREYAP) benchmark exercises were recently presented by DTU Wind Energy at EWEA 2015 Annual Event, Paris, France.

The European Wind Energy Association (EWEA) benchmarked the skills of the wind power industry and academia four times from 2011 to 2015 in the so-called Comparison of Resource and Energy Yield Assessment Procedures (CREYAP) initiative. Teams from all over the world were invited by EWEA to perform wind resource and energy yield assessments based on the same reference data sets; including predicting the actual, annual energy production of a given wind farm.

DTU Wind Energy carried out the analyses of the submitted results and have presented the results and conclusions at several international conferences and workshops. The list below contains links to more than 10 presentations and papers that may be downloaded free of charge from DTU Orbit. The WAsP software and models were abundantly represented in all four exercises.
