[16.12.04] New version of the WAsP Map Editor released
A new version of the WAsP Map Editor has been released on 15 Dec 2004; read about the changes, additions and new features here. You may download the new version from the WAsP download page.

[06.12.04] Update 'A' to the WAsP Utility Programs uploaded
An update of the program UTM.exe has been uploaded on the WAsP Utility Programs download page.

[12.11.04] Update to the WAsP Utility Programs released
The WAsP Utility Programs are in the process of being updated. The first release updates 17 utility programs which use the Windows Command Prompt Interface. A number of new and updated utility programs will be uploaded shortly.

[08.11.04] The WAsP help file now available for browsing
If you want to know (much) more about the capabilities of the WAsP software, the WAsP help facility and on-line documentation is now available for browsing or download (3,674 KB).

[29.10.04] Version 8.01.0069 of WAsP 8.1 now released

[22.09.04] Search page
The Home menu – and the submenus News, About, Contact, Links and Archives – now have a search facility in the right-most field of the lower menu line.

[12.08.04] Links page updated
A link to the BWEA 'Workshop on the Influence of Trees on Wind Farm Energy Yield' has been added to the Links page.

[28.06.04] Report script for MS Word has been updated
One report script for MS Word is now updated: the wind farm report with wake model output. One bug was corrected: the previous version did not show sectorwise results for the last turbine in a wind farm.

[05.04.04] Report scripts for MS Word added to the scripts download page
Five report scripts for MS Word are now available: an OWC report,  two wind atlas reports and two wind farm reports. The corresponding scripts for HTML reporting have been updated and are available as well.

[01.04.04] Utility script added to the download page
A script to export resource grid omni-directional data to file, including mean wind speed and RIX, is now available. Exported data can be imported into other programs; for analyses, plotting, GIS display etc. Click here for more details.

[11.02.04] The WAsP home page has been updated
We have had to update the entire WAsP home page; while the structure is basically the same, the links to the different pages have changed. We're sorry for any inconveniences this may cause. The new structure and naming of links is more logical and should last for a long time ;-)
