This site is dedicated to the world of wind atlases, the wind atlas methodology and wind atlases of the world. This site was also established and is maintained by members of the Wind Energy Division at Risø DTU in Roskilde, Denmark.

Some wind atlases are available directly from Risø DTU: the European Wind Atlas and the Russian Wind Atlas. Availability and prices are given on the order form.

All other wind atlases must be obtained directly from the publishing institution. A list of major national and regional wind atlas studies is given here.
