Pricing and Purchase

The WAsP software package consists of four Microsoft installer files: the WAsP program, the WAsP Climate Analyst, the WAsP Map Editor and the WAsP Licencing System. The installation files may be downloaded from the software download page. The WAsP installation program also installs the WAsP Turbine Editor, several other tools, a complete set of sample data files, several demonstration projects and the Danish Wind Atlas. Documentation is included as on-line help files.

Base prices are given in Euro (EUR) unless otherwise noted; amounts in Danish kroner (DKK) and US dollars (USD) are approximate only and may change according to the daily exchange rates. The prices of WAsP software packages include program updates and technical support for one year from the day of purchase.

EU VAT – important for customers in EU membership countries

If your company is located in an EU membership country, we need your VAT number (example: Risø DTU's VAT number is DK42154113) in order to avoid adding 25% of Danish tax to your invoice. Please notice that EU VAT has nothing to do with how much tax you pay in your own country. If you have no EU VAT number, although your company is located in an EU membership country, we have to add 25% of Danish tax to your invoice.

When invoicing and delivery addresses are not the same

If you need the invoice and the goods to be sent to different addresses, please specify this when you order. At the moment the order form does not allow you to write two different addresses, so please enclose any additional information on an extra page. You are also welcome to use your own order form. Please specify which address the invoice should be sent to, and which address the goods should be sent to.
