What's new in WAsP 10?

The main new feature in WAsP 10 is the ability to view your project in Google Earth. Most of the information you can display in a spatial view can be shown in Google Earth, and you can maintain a synchronised display: changes in your project will be automatically reflected in Google Earth. The following data can be shown in Google Earth:

Roughness change lines
Non-attribute lines
Turbine positions and 3D models
Met. mast positions and 3D models
Reference site positions and 3D models
Wind and AEP roses etc.
Resource grid data
Turbine bubble info

Other changes include the following:

Importing a spatial image (background map) has been greatly simplified
Air density is now a project parameter, and affects all power density values
Resource grid calculation masks can be derived from elevation limits and the vector map
Reference sites can be quickly inserted to match existing turbine sites
Distance circles (size n rotor diameters) around turbines can be shown in the spatial view
Several new scripts are added, including 'vertical slice'
Sample data can be installed to anywhere you like
Spatial images can be exported to file with accompanying scaling information
Updated default parameter set
Stability routine corrected

WAsP 10 also contains a number of new and updated tools:

A new Gaussian hill generator tool
A new Geo-projection utility tool
A new Lib Interpolator tool
A new Weibull Explorer tool
