Installation failure with Error 2738

If the installation of WAsP fails, and shows you a message box with error number 2738, then it's probably because your machine - for some reason - does not have a component called VBScript.DLL properly registered.

This problem has only been seen a few times, but it has been possible to get it sorted out for the WAsP customers who had this problem.

Please try the following – or contact your IT system administrator and ask him/her to try it for you. Especially you should ask for help from an IT system administrator if you are not allowed to log on to your PC as an administrator (administrator: user account with administrator rights). Don't proceed unless you're confident that you can perform all these steps. If in doubt, then please contact waspsupport@risoe.dk for more help.

• Make sure that you are logged in as an administrator
• Click on Start > Run
• A "Run" dialog box will then appear with an "Open" box
• In that box, please type regsvr32 VBScript.DLL – and activate the OK button
• You should then see a message saying that things were registered successfully

Then the installation should work.
