WAsP – the Wind Atlas Analysis and Application Program |
Over the years we have been approached by numerous WAsP users, requesting an “advanced WAsP course”. So far, we have been of the opinion that that was not a good idea because it would be very difficult to first of all find the right level and secondly to find what topics to teach.
We have now come up with a model, which we think will work and we hope you will agree:
Venue: Risø National Laboratory, Roskilde, Denmark
Dates: 24th and 25th of January 2005
Duration: 2 days
Presentations of “hot” topics in wind resource evaluation by members of the WAsP team. These will most likely include:
The participants present cases, which they have prepared in advance. These cases could involve problems encountered, examples of solutions to difficult problems, suggestions for best practice. The participant bringing the case will present it, and all participants will then discuss it. All members of the WAsP-team will be present and will contribute their experience and knowledge.
Please note that in order for this to work, your participation and active involvement is required!
Price: EUR 200
Number of participants: will be limited to 20, with no more than 10 cases. The cases will be selected beforehand.
Since this is a new undertaking, we would very much appreciate your feedback. Please contact the WAsP team with your comments.
